Absentee Bid Form

For those unable to attend the auction, we offer the absentee bid service as a convenience to our customers. You may leave your completed bid form with an auction employee any time during preview. You may also fax the completed form to 208-777-8724 at least an hour prior to the start of the auction. We will call to confirm faxed absentee bids, please leave a telephone number where we can reach you. 

An auction employee will execute your bid in your absence in a competitive manner, in other words, we do not start the bidding at your maximum. You may well win the item or lot at a price lower than your stated maximum bid. Premier Auction Center will not be held responsible for error or failure to execute an absentee bid. There is a bid minimum of $25.00 for catalogued auctions, and $10.00 for non-catalogued auctions. Bid forms must be submitted to auction staff in a timely manner.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

I am unable to attend the auction on _______________ and therefore request that you bid on my behalf on the above lot(s) up to but not exceeding the amount(s) listed. I acknowledge the following conditions of sale and agree to adhere to the same:

  • Everyone leaving an absentee bid must be willing to leave their credit card number to assure payment of a successful bid(s).

  • Any illegible bid(s) will be disregarded.

  • 6% sales tax will be added to the sales total unless a tax exempt number is on file in our office by the day of the auction.

  • A 10%  Buyer's Premium will be added to each purchase.

  • Bids are executed in competition with the audience on an alternate basis. Due to uncertainties of bidding, a lot may sell to the audience for the same amount authorized by the absentee bid. To avoid this possibility, the absentee bidder may authorize Premier Auction Center to increase their bid by one increment by placing a (+) sign to the right of the stated bid price.

  • Successful bidders will be called the day after the auction with bid information. The winning bid at an auction is an oral contract and is legally binding. Payment is expected within 3 days of the auction's end.
